Congratulations to all the Burgh staff & especially to the players for what can only be described as a tremendous season, where hard work, skill and dedication have once again proved that you were & still are the best. Any team who wins the league three times in a row & also reached the Scottish Cup Final (again) has proved that they are a force to be reckoned with....just ran out of steam on the day for the Cup (hard season). I've no doubt there will be some who will find fault (part of the game) however; the team have performed brilliantly & should reflect on what they have achieved whilst looking forward to next year....after a wee break of course! just a small note to say well done. but also ato say you are not very good sportsmen . When everyone went back to the Celtic club room everyone was in high spirits about their team winning.When Johnstonburgh boys came in the celtic boys supporters clapped at the boys. When celtic boys walked in there was a bit of booing from the boys and also the parents!!!. from a parents point of veiw i thought that this was a bit childish .If the boot was on the other foot our children would be dealt with so i hope the johnstonburgh boys were told that this was not very sportsmen like but never mind good luck in the final anyway

As we are heading down to Preston this weekend to take part in a football tournament, I see this as an ideal opportunity to promote the 'act of sportsmanship'. I had discussed with the manager the hospitality we had received and the professionalism and courtesy accorded to us by Dundee Celtic, Fairmuir and Ladybank Violet, players and management over this competition - you have much to be proud of up there and we are thankful for your hospitality.
